Balan K Nair was born in 4 aprill in 1933 in chemancheri kolzikode. He is an malayalam flim actor. Eventhough he appared most flim as a villan, he was also noted for his perfomance in strong charecter roles. He won the National Flim Award for Best Actor in 1981 for his performance in the movie Oppol. He diet in 26 august 2000 in thiruvandram at the age of 67.
