He was born in 17 december in 1972. He is an indian actor and model. After modelling fro numureous advertisements and companies, John Abraham made his film debut with Jism in 2003,which earned him Filfare Best Deput Award nomination. This was followed by his first commercial success dhoom in 2004. He received two Filmfare Award nominations, for his negative role in Dhoom and in Zinda in 2006. He has also been associated with the Lilavati Hospital And Reasearch Centre located in mumbai, where he donated cheque of ten lakhs towards tha hospital funds.
